INTEL vs AMD? I've heared all the rumors now could someone tell me the truth?
I hear how AMD is a cheaper cpu and is more bang for the buck...Then hear INTEL cpu is more expensive BUT you can overclock it more than an AMD??? AMD comes overclocked as shipped? AMD runs hotter than INTEL but that doesn't matter anymore because??? So what is the real deal here? AMD or INTEL has to be a better cpu, they both can't be the best CPU,... more »

Shuttle SD30G2B XPC, CPU support list
The CPU support list for this XPC has "Intel Core™2 Duo E6700 2.66 GHz" as the latest "Core 2 Duo" CPU supported. Geez, not only is this CPU hard to find but it's typically priced higher than an E8600 (except on Ebay). Not interested in a used CPU so my question is whether this XPC can indeed support later than the E6700? Will also... more »

Can 250.000 people be ALL wrong? .............................. ...
Some hundred thousands people saw it.... [link] Were they all having an illusion ? If you manage to love those who want to harm you, then you will gain something beyond any imagination. Anything opposing to the above is at least suspicious (don't you agree with that, deep in your soul?)... more »

Decent memory performance?
Hi, I've had quite some trouble with my new pc, as Sandra reported back terrible memory performance. I've done a lot of tweaking (though I'm not really good at it, nor do I enjoy it), but couldn't get Sandra to report better than approx. 3300MB/s, which is poor looking at what systems beat mine in Sandra.... more »

Computer won't power up
My wife's computer stopped working the other day. She would push the power button and nothing would happen. I guessed ot was either the power button or the power supply. I bought a new case but it didn't start up. Next thought it was the motherboard, so I bought a new mother board. Still no power. Any ideas?... more »

Heatsink Loose on GigaByte GA-MA78GM-S2H
I just installed a GigaByte GA-MA78GM-S2H mainboard. The heatsink shown in this picture is loose [link]. If you touch it with the board vertical it wobbles toward and away from the board. That's a beefy heatsink so I assume handles a lot of heat and... more »

OT Attach computer speakers to TV
I guess it's common knowledge, but you can use your old computer speakers to enhance the sound of your television simply by connecting them to the headphone output jack on the TV. Nice use when I upgrade my speakers. Of course, some people don't care much about PC sound and wouldn't bother upgrading. I don't know if it works for anything better... more »
